For those of you who don’t know, we just released our first full-length album, Nothing to Fear, on 11-22-08. Our CD Release Party was awesome! Water2Wine, complete with an eight-piece band, played all 15 original songs from our new album for a totally packed house. Our immense thanks go out to everyone who came and cheered us on, everyone who brought food, everyone who bought CD’s and T-shirts, everyone who was involved in that event in any way ~ you’re a blessing! Your support means the world to us. Look for video clips from that concert, courtesy of Soundworks Studios and Inspiration in Motion (www.inspirationinmotion.com), coming soon to our website.
Since then, we’ve been very busy on the marketing/promotional end of things. We now have a PayPal account set up on our website so that people can buy CD’s and T-shirts conveniently and directly. Over the next couple of months, our music will become available for purchase and digital download on such places as CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon, and more; we’ll keep you posted on our progress with that. Our CD’s are currently available at local churches Good News Christian Center in Wallingford, CT and Collinsville Congregational Church in Collinsville, CT, and we are looking into putting them at more local bookstores. You can also listen for our music on local Christian radio station WIHS 104.9 FM (for those of you in the CT area).
We are also beginning to book gigs once again. After seven months in the recording studio, we really miss playing out! We’re looking forward to getting back out there again. That’s what we live for, after all ~ the experience of personally relating to an audience through the medium of our music, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You can look in the Calendar section of our website to view W2W’s upcoming events.
There’s more in the works, but we can’t tell you yet! What we can tell you is that we are very excited to see what God is continuing to do through this ministry and this music. So stay tuned!
By the way, for those who don’t know us personally, no, Ginette and Jeanette are not actually related. They are just best friends and band mates who coincidentally happen to share the same uncommon name (spelled differently, of course ~ we can’t be too similar, after all).
